Description

This was the first painting painted by Sim Kah Lim during his first visit to the Singapore River after 36 years. He used golden brown colour for the entire painting because brown is an earthly colour that symbolises resilience, security, safety and strength while gold is associated with love, compassion, passion, magic and wisdom.
